Hassle-Free Airport Check-in & Terminal Process for Domestic Flights
As we enter the new normal, airlines around the globe are striving to make the skies safe for flying again. At Go First, your safety is our priority. As per the government advisory, we have gone the extra mile to ensure you have a safe and contact-less flying experience.
Below is the check-in and terminal entry process for domestic flights:
Step 1: Safe and Smart Web Check-in
It is mandatory to web check-in prior to departure to ensure a contactless travel experience. You can web check-in on www.flygofirst.com or mobile app from 72 hours until 1 hour prior to the departure of the flight.
If you are carrying check-in luggage, then you need to add your luggage during the web check-in process. As per the guidelines for domestic air travel, you are only allowed to carry one cabin bag (7 kg max) and one check-in bag (15 kg max). Once you have added the luggage during web check-in, you will receive a baggage tag/identification number via SMS or E-mail. You are required to affix the baggage tag/identification number on a prominent place on the bag.
During the web check-in process, you have to fill a health declaration form. The e-boarding pass will only be provided to you only after you fill the health declaration form.
Step 2: Download the Aarogya Setu App
As per the government guidelines, it is mandatory for you to download the Aarogya Setu app. You are required to show a Green status on the app at the entry gate of the airport. Please note that a Green status on the app is mandatory for you to enter the airport.
Step 3: Report Early and have a Comfortable Check-in Process
At Go First, we are going the extra mile to ensure you have a safe and hassle-free check-in process. Hence, it is advisable to reach the airport 3 hours prior to departure of your flight. Do not forget to carry a soft copy or a printed copy of your boarding pass.

Step 4: Go through Thermal Screening
In order to ensure a safe flying experience, you will have to go through thermal screening across various checkpoints outside and inside the airport.
However, if you record a high temperature even after the Green status on the Aarogya Setu app, there is nothing to panic about. Our staff will guide you to a local airport health authority or doctor. If the health authorities clear you for travel, you can board the flight.
Step 5: Self-drop baggage during check-in
At the check-in counter, you will have to self-drop your baggage. To avoid crowding and to help you maintain social distancing, the baggage counters will be placed 1m apart. The staff at the baggage drop counter will check your PNR and baggage tag. If found in order, the baggage tag will be printed and attached to the bag and the bag accepted.
Once you follow the above steps, your check-in and terminal entry process at the airport is complete. Throughout the process, there will be clear markers for social distancing. After this, you will be directed to the boarding gate. At Go First, your safety is our priority. You will be provided with a safety kit including essentials such as a 3 ply face mask, a face shield and hand sanitizer. It is mandatory that you wear a face mask all through the journey. Boarding for flights will commence 60 minutes before departure. The boarding gate will close 20 minutes before departure.
To ensure you have a safe flying experience, we have strictly adhered to the guidelines issued by the government and the World Health Organization (WHO). It is imperative that you know about the current state-wise regulations before you go. Please ensure you check the state-wise regulation/quarantine guidelines, E-pass and or any other regulations of the city/state for a hassle-free journey.
We look forward to welcoming you on board.
