GoAir appoints former Airbus and aviation veteran Ms. Miranda Mills as COO

18 July 2019: GoAir, India’s fastest growing airline, Wednesday announced the appointment of Miranda Mills as Chief Operating Officer (COO) with effect from 1st August 2019.

Miranda will be heading GoAir Operations and will report to the Managing Director. Miranda is a Chartered Aeronautical Engineer from University of Glasgow and a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society with a career spanning over 25 years in the aerospace industry.

Commenting on her appointment, Mr. Jeh Wadia, Managing Director and CEO, GoAir said: “I welcome Miranda to the GoAir family. Her deep knowledge of the aviation industry, operations excellence and her ability to run and transform businesses will benefit GoAir in the long run.”

During her career she has spent 16 successful years with Airbus which culminated in her running the UK ENS satellite business unit whilst being Global Sales & Marketing Director. Prior to this she was in the Commercial Aircraft Division as VP Sales - South Asia; VP Strategy-Services; VP Programs A320 family (UK) and Head of Wing Manufacturing, Wide Body.

Post Airbus, she served at Inmarsat, Satellite Service Company as President, Aviation followed by Rolls Royce Civil Aerospace as their Chief Digital Officer and Director of Transformation. Her last assignment was that of an advisor to Searchlight Capital’s Aerospace & Defense fund.

She has worked in the UK, France, Switzerland and India during her career. In addition, Miranda is an MBA from The University of Manchester and is a Certified Company Director from INSEAD.
